Yesterday I installed an A3 (~5.7k) in the neck, an A5 (~6.5k) RWRP in the middle, and an A3 (~7.3k) in the bridge. I suppose that now it sounds a lot more like a vintage Strat. The fret ends even seem to be getting smoother after working on them with increasingly finer grits of sand paper. I'm happy with the swap. Might eventually post another sound/video clip.
Shout out to idsnowdog for providing the pickups.

I shall keep that in mind. I'm going to wait and see if I win the auction on the loaded pick guard, but thank you.

If you're willing to pay shipping I will send you the spare set of Fleor pickups I have and the two Squire A3 pickups that people think are Tonerider Surfari's.

Trying to decide between Lace gold sensors or vintage wound A5's or A3's.

You are not dead until the last time someone says your name so EVH will live forever. Today Ed simply started a new journey.

Here's a few more pics. It looks like a few screws on the pick guard might be stripped.

I used some 600 grit sandpaper and they're a little better.

It's a Squire Affinity. Fret ends are a little sharp but it doesn't sound too bad. A bit on the bright side, but I think that's partly due to the new strings. Other than that everything works.
