  • Washburn N4 Experts... step inside please.

Can anyone tell me what the extra hole on the lower right side of the back cavity is for? I have heard that it may be for a trem blocker. Just trying to get a better idea. I finally bit the bullet and joined the N4 club. I will definitely be installed a d-tuna, just trying to figure out if I need to get a trem blocker or not. lol! Thanks in advance!

For the D-Tuna to work properly, you need to block the Floyd! No idea about the hole though...

I understand that I will need to block the floyd. I have installed several d-tunas over the years. I have heard that the N4 has a trem block built in from the factory. I was just trying to confirm this.

N4s are awesome! Have no idea about the hole, and looking at the pic, there isn't a factory trem blocker on it. Did they do a "relic" version that's routed for a d-tuna like Nuno's? If so, that one may have the built in blocker.
