  • NGD!!

So this bad boy showed up yesterday. While I will definitely admit that I am in the honeymoon phase, I can say that you can absolutely feel and see the quality of this guitar build. Of all of the guitars that I have owned, this is by far the most impressed I have ever been when pulling a guitar out of a case. All I had to do was put the strings that I like on the guitar and make a slight adjustment to the truss rod. This guitar wants to go fast! At any rate... I am happy to finally be a part of the N4 club.

Very nice! I notice that the upper horn doesn't have as much cutaway/scoop as a traditional upper horn.... does that affect your ability to reach the highest frets when your're playing high up on the neck in that area? Impact to thumb placement and reach?

No, because the Stephen's cutaway lets you get all the way up the neck. And these days I usually don't play above the 15th position anyway...lol

As an FYI, the N4 Vintage does in fact come with a trem blocker from the factory. You use the same hex wrench that you use to tighten the strings or remove the nut clamps. IMHO, every Floyd Rose equips guitar should have this feature.

Really nice guitar all around. I dig the ergonomics and the 'lo-fi' finishing on it.
