  • GASing for ESP LTD NW-44 Neil Westfall

I am not a Westfall fan or a fan of LTD but for some reason this guitar checks all of my boxes and rattles my jimmies.
Bare Knuckle Aftermath pickups Accelerated bass response, precise high-ends
Thin U-shaped neck Slim shape with fast, easy-to-play feel
Mahogany body Rich, warm, focused sound; added sustain
Maple top Long sustain with crisp, bright tone

I don't know who that is, but I like the looks of that guitar a lot.

Quite a long time ago, I posted about GAS'ing for an upscale, single-bridge axe, to replace my cheapy Rockmaster. That's the one I wanted most. Still do.

I had to look him up myself he is the guitarist for A Day To Remember, he has nice tastes in axes.

While I appreciate the mixing of a super strat with an LP into a unique design, something seems wrong about it.

Not sure if you have played a thin u neck, but I really like them. Smooth, easy, fast.

Hmmm . . . I don't see Super Strat in that at all. But then again, maybe I'm not visualizing an SS properly.

I feel like the archetypical Superstrat is HSS, with a fancy trem system... none of which I see here.

I guess there's a little EVH influence, because of the single knob, and some of his famous guitars were Strat-shaped...

From my minimal experience, they sound fantastic and feel really really good. The looks though, that is perhaps the best part.
