Cheers all. I sold it for about 320 bucks, to a guy who collects MLs. I'm happy

True - I am NOT the right person. Missed a deal on seriously righteous USA Caddy earlier....

Seriously OP; Dean 79 ML from late 00's....was like a 599-699 guitar to start with. More importantly, a solid player if you like the style and easily adjustable to excellent. Questionable pickups. Probably not DMT's yet.

But you'll want a 59/Dimebucker in there anyway.

300-350 is decent if you dig it.

    That's more realistic.

I mean, I have like 14 Deans...I think I'm well within my rights here.
I used to own more than that, Ace. Settle down and stop ****ting in this dude’s Cheerios. Dime played 79s on stage from the day he came back to the day he died. He was playing one when he went down (R.I.P.).

I’d say it’s worth maybe 300-450 to the right person.

That one looks similar to my 2013 Chicago Series Standard though mine doesn't have binding on the body. Mine was also made in Korea. Plays fantastic.

It’s a VERY early 79 series ML, known as a ‘saggy crotch’ . It’s different from most 79s as it has a plain top and the area between the legs (crotch) isn’t cut as sharp. These were made right after Dean cancelled the Select series MLs in the early-mid 00s.

It’s a cool oddity but that’s about it. Value is about the same as any used 79 on Reverb or Ebay.

    Help identifying my Dean please!

    Hi all

Picked up this Dean on eBay a few years back. It was being sold round the corner so had to be done! The owner's wife knew nothing about it.

I'm thinking of selling it due to space but can't determine value really. Its a Korean Dean ML made in 2008 but thats as far as I've got.

Can anyone help with an ID and an idea on value?

    Cheers!
    Gareth

Working...
