  • Epiphone Les Paul Custom Pro discontinued

How come the Epiphone Les Paul Custom Pro got discontinued?

  • #2
Every year Epiphone fiddles with their lines. My guess is that it comes down to sales. Models that sell well continue to be made.

      Musta been good? I guess

Epi has a tradition of walking a fine line of non-competition with Gibson products

Funny you say that because I have Gibson Les Paul Traditional Pro with the exact same features as the Epi. There has been an Epi Trad Pro , Trad Pro 2, and Trad Pro 3 that matches with Gibson's models. The only difference electronic-wise is the pickups (Probuckers vs. Burstbuckers).

Wasn't the Custom Pro just the same as the current LPC? Well, with the obvious headstock shape change.
