If I really want the thing, I'll just pay the asking/BiN price.

If I'm just in the mood to shop or want the endorphins from getting what I perceive to be a good deal, I'll haggle.

2012 msrp ≠ 2121 msrp

Hell, in 2014 they dropped the entire idea of msrp, since it was routinely undercut by 30% in every catalog and on every site, so it's hard to even do an apples-to-apples comparison.

But the street price today for an American Professional II (the closest modern equivalent to the American Standard) is higher than the msrp for the Am Std was in 2012.
