I’ve actually gotten a couple new since I last posted. USA strat and Music Man Valentine in trans buttermilk.

I’ll be changing the pickguard snd pickups in the Valentine and will have to update then!

GAS is in full effect, I’ll be adding more to the stable soon

      Dude!

How's that oddball bridge pickup in the MM?

I like it well enough when playing through a tiny amp in my room.

Played it through a larger Marshall DSL and was wishing it was a humbucker like the neck pickup.
I get that he was going for a telecaster type thing, and that works if that’s what you want. It does maroon 5 tones well.
I’m planning on putting a set of 78 EVH Humbuckers in it shortly.

My Music Mans (Men?) are my favorite guitars. I haven't had a chance to play this model, but it certainly looks cool. Congrats on the acquisition!

Without the pickguard... it’s a whole new beast.

I've been tempted by the Valentine before. Even the Sterling version looks pretty hot, with its roasted neck.

Is that a 3 or 5 position switch?

3 way. With 2 push/push pots. One splits the neck pickup and the other is a boost.

It's got the silent circuit, right? I don't have any real idea how that works, but it sounds appealing for an SH configuration.

It’s essentially a dummy coil wired and oriented in a way that it has minimal impact on tone, but cancels the noise.

Yeah, the Silent Circuit is no joke. Outside of a stacked pickup, it is the best sounding system to get rid of noise with single coils.
