I've been steadily downsizing my collection over the past year, but I stumbled across this little-known model and just had to grab it!
It's a 2005 Yamaha AES520 "Drop 6" baritone. Set-neck single cut with huge body bevels, two-toned paint, and a unique 26.25" scale length.
This thing sounds and plays amazing! Not to mention it still looks great for being 16 years old!
Absolutely loving the slightly shorter scale length compared to most "baritones" I've played and the unbranded stock pickups are really thick sounding, but still crunchy in a very pleasing way.
Now I can get my late-'90s downtuned undercore on and play sludgy doom riffs when I'm feeling particularly lazy
