Did you do a unique choice top or just standard flame?
        Oh no.....

        Oh Yeah!

No unique choice, but I hadn't seen many unique choice tops that look this cool. Yes, it exceeded my expectations. It is a really interesting figure, with what looks like alien faces on it.

I connected the neck and body tonight, and started work on the bridge. But here is a pic of the body on a table at home. Not the best lighting, but you get the idea.

That's a gorgeous looking body. Such a contrast between the back and front too.

Sweet woods all around, and those are some evil looking Seths!

Thank you! I was going for wildly different wood types. The satin finish feels wonderful too.

I agree. And how apropos that the lettering on the box almost looks like "Seth Loner."

                    Cool project, Dave.

So far, I connected the bridge, and the body to the neck. I am taking this slow, and working on 1 small thing every time I sit down. Tomorrow is strap locks, and might get to the copper tape.

For copper tape shielding are you doing all the control cavity and pickup cavities?
                            Oh no.....

Not the pickup cavities, since you would see them- the pickups will be wood mounted, and I don't want copper shining through. If there is a big problem with noise, I might get black shielding paint and paint the cavities.

Here is the shielding work (I put Schaller S Locks on, but I didn't take a pic of those).

This is before I covered the little shelf for the screws.
