  • Line 6 guitar port Vs. sans amp GT-2

I've been doing a lot of computer recording ( cakewalk pro 3) I've been
useing my trusty GT-2 ( I record mostly late at night) I can tweak a
desent Marshall tone from the GT-2, But I've never been happy with
the Fender cleans. How much better is the guitar port? I see a lot
of people rave about Pods? Anybody got the low down on these
    guitar ports?

all the tracks i've done have been on a guitar port : http://www.soundclick.com/bands/5/st...otionmusic.htm

if your looking for clean listen to funky groove song for a lead sound (i used the fender model on the port) and for all this - not as good a tone but still used the port.

imo they're well worth the money... a little hard to get used to to begin with with mic modeling and all that.. but well worth the effort
    My clips

Thanks for the clips That's some nice playing to
It's hard to gauge the cleans w/t verb on them. But you got a
pretty good sound. Also how well does it interface with the music Apps.
like cakewalk? Well I have to buy either one of these or a SM-57 and
start pulling amps outta the closet.I'd much rather mic my amp,But I
got the late night recording session small apartment Blues.
