  • New Petillo neck on my 2020 NAMM Limited Edition 1951 Fender Super Heavy Relic Tele

I just couldn't bond with the original neck on this guitar, so I asked my friend Dave Petillo to make me one that represents the Christian Bale Dark Knight movies. Specs are:

German maple neck relic-ed to match the Fender body raw wood color and feel

Nigerian ebony fingerboard with inlaid Batman logo and dot inlays made of mother of pearl (22 frets) (14 radius) Soft V Shape

Petillo Precision Frets (triangle/pyramid frets made of stainless steel)

Black phenolic raised headstock design with inlaid Batman silhouette in mother of pearl and Petillo logo in
    sterling silver

Made in West Germany 1980's Schaller tuners used by Dr. Phil Petillo on Bruce Springsteen's Esquire.

    Graphite nut

Didn't he come up with some sort of triangular fret patent in the late 70s?

That really works on that particular guitar.
