Ernie Ball has really got it right these last couple years in regards to low-tuners (or even high-tuners if anyone would ever get the guts, myself included) who are specific about the string-to-string balance and feel.
Some of the "in-between" sets I prefer have been cheaper this week so I snagged a dozen each of the Turbo and Ultra sets.
The Turbo is about perfect for those who like a near standard feel (like 9-42 at E feel) but tune to Eb. Just a hair more beef/tension on the wounds, but very close to the standard feel.

The Ultra is the same feel for D-standard. For players who like a more medium feel then the Turbo would be E and the Ultra would be for Eb.
