    Looks like they're giving guitar synths another shot. Guess they sound better that those awful Roland Midi guitars from the 80s.

    It doesn't store PCM samples...it is their Sy analog-ish sounds. That doesn't interest me as much- I can do that all with a pedal. I wish Boss world talk to actual guitar synthesists.

      BOSS is Roland so they never got out of the guitar synth business.

        I kind of want a VG8 or VG88 if I could get one really cheap.

          Sure, but have you ever played one of those old midi guitars? They were downright awful.

            The Line 6 Variax does what the VG88 did, but a lot better.
