    Finished...
    the weather forced to me let the guitar cure for a month before finishing..
    this is a good thing, the lacquer was nice and hard and buffed up beautiful

    Blackheart Sassafras Back and sides
    Bearclaw sitka soundboard
    Ebony Binding BWBWB Purfling
    Silky Oak and Purple heart neck with ebony pinstripes
    Tasmanian Myrtle headstock plate
    Purple heart and ebony bridge, ebony pins
    Phoenix rising Inlay White, Pink, Black Mother of pearl, Red Abalone, Paua shell
    Lots of different timbers in the Rosette...

      Oh my, that sassafras ... You've got some sweet billets of spruce too.

      I also love these kinds of rosettes, plus it saves you from chucking smaller off-cuts.
