I'm currently playing a Marshall 2555 which has to be one of the best if not the best amp they've made since the Plexi Superlead.

My favorite new amps are definitely Soldano. I've played almost every model of amp they're produced and my favorites are the Decatone, SLO, and Lucky 13 in that order. Their X88R rackmount preamp is also killer. I don't know if you're looking for that kind of grind, but they'll do killer blues tones as well as one of the best clean channels I've ever heard in a high gain amp.

And that's probably because most people with electric guitars seem more interested in their own performance rather than the effect on the listener ... in fact i don't think many people who own electric guitars even give a poop about the effect on a listener. Which is why many people play electric guitars but very very few of them are actually musicians.
