    Out of five electric guitars that I own, five of them have Graphtech saddles. I like that they are smooth, feel nice under my hand, don't break strings and I think they look cool.

    I won't comment on tonal qualities.

        That hasn't been my experience. It's a divisive topic whether they help or harm the tone of a guitar. I can't really say that I notice much difference.

            Yeah, graph tech saddles aren't as bad as bone, but I do think they dull out the tone too much. I think having a synthetic material as the nut and having metal saddles is a good combo. Having plastic nut and plastic saddles is too much. Some people might like the muted tone tho.

                I have this problem on my Squier Toronado. It made the guitar sound dull, like the strings have been on for years and they killed the sustain, too. Going to put the original saddles back on and deal with them digging into my palm. This is the only guitar with them I've had that issue.
