      I grabbed an iron by the barrel once. Let go as soon as the non solder smell hit me. Left some nice white marks on my fingers for a few days.

              Everyone in that whole chain from model to photographer to graphics designer and up exhibited a strong ignorance of actual soldering operations.

                            Sure, but that would not be their responsibility, nor is soldering a skill that the majority of people know how to do properly.
