I have a tapped Lollar P90 in my PGK SG Jr. a fantastic pickup. 10k wind full and tapped for a vintage output. Had it custom wound. My LP Jr DC will also have a Lollar but not tapped.

How does it add top end shimmer, if I may ask?

And, while it isn't a tap....boy that sure makes it easy to order a Custom Shop P-90 that can be tapped from hot to vintage! Just sayin'....think about it.

yes its a tap from 8K to 5K.

Get one wound to ~11k and tap it to 7...or not.

Rings like a Bell, incredible. Thick & full sounding, only 7 lbs.
