Hey man, when you buy a guitar with active pickups from the store brand new, should you change the batteries?? or shud you play it till they die down a bit???

if they work, dont change them. if the sound starts to become "disfigured", so to speak, change them.esp ltd deluxe ec-1000 (amber sunburst)

how do i kno when the sound is disfigured, im unsure half the time, shud i just shove new batteries in and see if they sound better, and if not put the old ones back in?
