Burns trisonic pickups...anyone with experience with these?

I want a single coil guitar, and ive just caught onto the idea of getting a custom job like a warmoth or similar and building it around a set of burns trisonic pickups from plexi palace.

Does anyone have any experience with these pickups and if so, what are the like tonally and how easy is it to coax harmonics out of them etc etc.

I've only played them on a Burns Brian May Signature briefly, maybe 20 minutes to half an hour, but I thought they were pretty good. Sounded vintage to my ears. They can get pretty fat when in series mode, though don't expect them to sound exactly like a Strat in parallel.

I could coax harmonics out of them fairly easily, but you're just going to have to try it out yourself to see if it fits your style. See if there are any Burns Brian May guitars in your area and give those a test drive.
