    Re: Next guitar...any suggestions?

I've got the Schecter and the SG....so I'm considering a hollowbody for my next guitar. I want a completely different voicing in my arsenal. I'm looking at the Schecter E/A and the Hamer Duotone. I love the fact they come with humbuckers and a piezo pickup.

I'll second the motion on the charvels. I got one and the neck is almost 1/4 as good as sex-meaning good.

Fender HH custom tele FMT. (what a name!)
Those look pretty neat, if you don't mind a mahogany body, flametop, string through hardtail, dual humbucker guitar made in Korea for $599.

im looking into buying a fender showmaster. its a h-h one with a floyde rose. its a great shred guitar WITHOUT a glued on tilt back headstock. wich most ibanezes and esps and jacksons have.
Down at the edge, close by a river.
Close to the edge, round by the corner.

I'm thinking about a soloist guitar, but only a string-thru. I dont like floyd trems.

                        I second that.

Also, something like a G&L Z3 like the one Gearjoneser got would be cool. There are a few nice G&L and Music Man too that you might be able to pick up second hand at a good price.

                          Re: Next guitar...any suggestions?

Gibson SG would fit nicely for what you play. I know alot of hardcore bands use them, but now that I've got one (well I have an Epi G-400) I know why. They are very light weight, which is great if your playing a show or just play standing. If $1000 is your budget, go for the SG special (not the faded), I've played one before and they're not bad. If you can get a standard for $1000 then do for that.
ESP also makes the Viper which is the SG copy. I've never played one but it sounds like a decent guitar.
                          Good luck with your search.
