Okay I was never into multi effects but this would help record. Does anybody know about these?

Everything. I'm thinking of buying one.

        Re: Digitech RPx400

In general I don't like the sound of digitech units. The distortions are uninspiring and very 'digital'(cold, sterile, you know the drill). I have nightmares about the tinny delays and flat chorus(pardon my drama, I spent a lot of money on a Legend21 back in the day and it still haunts me). For my money I'd be more inclined to get a PodXT or maybe the Vox one, though I haven't used it. The POD has cool interface software and from what I've heard the sounds are the most realistic/pleasing of the modellers out there.

As always, YMMV and some people do like digitech stuff...

        Good luck!

I just need a processor that sounds decent for when the weather's bad at an outdoor gig or on a small stage and Cakewalk coming with it seems like a big plus.
