    What's a good drum machine? I'm looking for the modern day TR-808, basically.

    try the alesis one. i forget what its called but its a black box. i will get the site in a minuet.
    Down at the edge, close by a river.

          Berkley seems to be turning out some quality ones...


          Same with Belmont in TN.


          Drum machines are good, but I'll take the real deal anyday.

              Alesis SR-16. Best one in the market. The cymbals seem kind of anemic to me, but you can isolate them and send them through some processing to liven them up a little. Anyway, great programmable drum machine. They don't get tired or need a break, either.... Q: What do you call a drummer without a girlfriend? A: Homeless (sorry, I drum, too, I just couldn't resist..).
