not very impressed. all the guitar sounds sounded the same. the only ones i liked were the tele one and the acoustic ones. those were the only ones that sounded good to be. anybody else have any input?

Re: played a variax today
from what i heard, they have a great premiss, but there is very little variation in sound for the guitars (like pickups and the such) and there is one neck, which most people dont like (some like the different feels with different guitars)esp ltd deluxe ec-1000 (amber sunburst)
fender mim standard strat
peavey classic 30
johnson j-station
original ibanez ts-9 (not in use)
dunlop crybaby (sometimes in use)
yamaha f-310p acoustic
taylor 410 acoustic

Re: played a variax today
the neck thing isnt a big deal. you can bolt almost any strat style neck right into the pocket, a very good idea on line 6's part. as far as the sounds, i hear plenty of variation but it doesnt really do much for me. no vibe at all.
ive heard that the acoustic is much bettter, but i havetn tried one
