    Sounds like your talking about a stylus pick. It had a diamond shape on the end of it? My friend had one in the 80's. I found
    it completely unuseable. ( but I'm NOT a shredder)

    Well, it was not a pick you should use to actually play with, but to train your ability to pick better (...). It had a rare look...

    Dunlop picks : Gator Grip std., Nylon std., Tortex std., & Ultex. These are all the ones I can think of at the moment, but it sounds like it might be the Gator's, i'l keep checking.

    Dunlup had a pick (don`t remember the name...) which was suited to train your ability to play fast tremolo picking. Anyone who knows which name these had and are they still around?

    Nice if someone can post a link with a picture of these.
