  • Tubescreamer "boinking"

I have a Keeley TS-9. After a year of wonderful use, I have noticed something odd,(and I think new). When I set the level up all the way, I hear a weird high-pitched "boink" every time I turn the thing on or off. I tried swapping the battery, and although the battery that I put in it wasn't new, I don't think it was bad. The noise persisted.

Any of you TS-9 people ever notice this? Any solutions?

    thanks,
    kaknight
