    I think if you're into the SG sound, the G&L will be closer to what you like. The neck access will be less than the musicman, though. The various Musicman axis models are incredibly cool guitars, though. A friend has an EVH (now the axis), and it's a KILLER guitar. Damn thing plays itself.

    Basically, you've got to hop down to a dealer and try them out. Remember that there are a ton of options from both dealers, so you should be able to tweak to your advantage.

            I love Music Man guitars but I think in this case my vote would be for the G&L Asat Deluxe

            The G&L site has pages for both the ASAT Deluxe & the ASAT Deluxe Semi Hollow, so you can get either.
