Get a modded Boss GE-7.

Basically, he lowers the noise floor to remove the hiss when boosting GE-7's are famous for and tweeks the Q on some of the sliders. I run one and it's great, simply because you don't have to comprimise on settings to keep the hiss down.

With a name like "GE-7 Sniper EQ" and the OD Green paint, they should be right up your alley.

I just tried out an old Rocktron eq and loved how I could tweak my tone. My buddy doesn't want to sell his so I am on the prowl wondering what you guys are using? I think that I will stay in the 7 to 10 band eq, stomp box. Right now I am leaning toward the Boss GE7.
