Can any one help me get or get close to the guitar tone of Shai Hulud? Thanks to any help in advance.

I like them but never care of their tone. I think I saw a guitarist of them playing with Rise Against. He played a Dual Recto + Mesa Rec Std Cab. But those two bands have very different tone .

I've just listen to "Shai Hulud - My Heart Bleeds the Darkest Blood" found one guitar sound a bit recto like the other is warmer more mids not sounding like a recto. Just a guess!

      *edit*

They had another guitarist for awhile before they broke up.

Ahhhhh Hulud and Strongarm, two of the freakin' best band that were... Last time I saw hulud live, Matt Fox was using both, a ltd m-1000 and an Ibanez S-serie (go figure which number...) and played through a rectifier (dual if I'm not mistaking), the second guitar (new guy) was playing a M-1000 (Ltd) through the same amp. I must admit that, as much as I can love this band (some of the best lyrics around in HC) I didn't really dig their live tone... I really don't have a clue about what they used on the first album...they won't even talk about the stuff they used on the second one...
