But off the stage altogether...hmm...I may have to try that...
We have a couple of t00b sn0bs at our church. They place their amps in a sealed room backstage (under the baptistry) and run their input cable out to the stage. This allows them to get their "tone" and keeps stage volumes down.

wow thats amazing, nigel is also a HUGE influence on me aswell as Hillsong the band itself, totally changed my life. iv always wondered how he's tone cuts very well through the THICK ensemble of Hillsong, after countless days n hours of replicating that tone im convinced that its got something to do with how his EQ is mixed, n him bieng the lead in the band im pretty sure the front of house bumps his volume up quite a bit..

Tomlin has some good songs, but I find he's a better worship leader than vocalist. YMMV.

Useless tidbit: The sound tech makes Nigel put his amps under the stage and won't let him adjust them after they're set. Otherwise it gets too loud for the church.

Yeah, & the blue/green pedal is a Mulholland Drive. At least $200 more.

I'm sure some of that came at a discount, wasn't all bought at once, & even bought used.

There's guys on this forum who's boards cost more.
