For those not in the know, it's an IC Muff clone. Sounds like this:

I tried it out at band practice yesterday and it was particularly satisfying. It also has the added benefit of completing my muff trifecta.

They all live harmoniously on my pedalboard.

I wonder how it compares to the ICBM.

Love the color/name by the way!

Re: NPD: Moar fuzz, yet again

Does the ICBM have a tone bypass switch? Because I couldn't really get the pedal to cut the mix with the tone knob in the circuit. Granted, I didn't have much time to tweak it, so I can't really judge for sure. I also have a naturally scooped amp (68 Bassman) and that could be part of it. I'm generally against stacking, but I want to try running the JMP drive with the level way up, gain way down, and the mids up to compensate for the scooped-ness of the muff. That should sound pretty crackin'.

With the tone bypass on straight into the bassman though... what a sound.

Uh, you need to give in Hoss... You need a Big Muff Style and a Fuzz Face style. They'll fit perfectly on your new Pedaltrain 2.

He's right. For you I'd recommend a Mojo Hand Iron Bell for a muff and, well, I'm extremely partial to my Sunface. It sounds so incredible, and they come in so many options that there's one for everyone.

I have been thinking a lot about trying some FX pedals. I've always been guitar-amp-cab kind of guy, but I've been thinking a 50w Plexi clone and one of those Colossus Fuzz would sound glorious.

I've always secretly wanted a Sunface!

The only fuzz i've ever had was the Barber Trifecta and i LOVED IT!!! I still don't know why i sold it?!

A great fuzz may be the pedal that i've been wanting and never really knew it. I have this lead tone/feel in my head that i've never really found a perfect pedal for. The Jetter Gain Stage Red was the closest i've ever came to it. In my brain, i usually equate a fuzz with rhythm tones, but maybe a fuzz is really what i'm after for that elusive lead tone that i've always chased?

Good luck finding the limited edition version, but from what I can make out, it's no different inside to the standard Iron Bell, which you should be able to track down without a problem.
