Just finished this... Fresh outta Cubase...

I am using my old Roland GP16... I guess it's still fine and I (keep telling myself that) I don't need an MX400.

Around this part of the world such equipment can be bought for quite a good price. So this trend has not started around where I live...

Me too! Back in "the day" seems like everyone I liked was running one. You can use a regular amp for a power amp right? Funny, all this gear (ADAs, Rockmans and all) was out of favor a few years ago and you could get it dirt cheap.. Now, its all going back up. I scored a Rockman chorus rack unit for a pretty good price. Then had it refurbed. My beef with it tho is that it doesnt have a bypass. When its off, you have nothing to the amp.

Thanks. 59N's with a4 mags are killer! BTW the mag swap isn't that difficult. Here is John's very useful tutorial:

Whats that Mesa unit that you have? Whats up with that puppy?
That's cool that the ADAdepot is back up!
    Thanks...

That Mesa is my good old V-Twin that I bought from Sam Ash in NYC back in 1996...

    It's hell of a preamp.

    I've just finished this:

    Duncan 59N with an alnico 4 mag... + Roland GP16 + VST/IR Cab Sim...

I am loving this preamp more and more!!! I know its overdrive is phenomenal, yet its cleans are great as well.

^ I wasn't able to find any of the "Tone for days…" ads. Those were my favorites; they always made me want to try the stuff out.

^The first thing I though after reading the title of the OP was: "welcome to 1989!" Those ads say it so much better.
