I paid $45 used for a TR-2 and never once thought it was "expensive".

        Umm...they're not?!
If you just read a post by The Guy Who Invented Fire please understand that opinions change, mind sets change and as players our ears mature...not to mention our needs grow and change. With that in mind, today I may or may not agree with the post you just read!

$50 for a good used BOSS pedal is a bargain. I remember having to buy them new for $100+ because the only ones you could find used were trashed, and the guy selling them wanted $10 less than new so he could buy a new pedal with minimal OOPE!

Lots of ups and downs with tremolos.

            (Tremolo Humor thread? Hmmm)

I guess. But the volume drop is just annoying. I just never found anything interesting about them. STill, can't hate on general Boss quality.

Interested in a trade? I have one that I acquired from a friend that I don't use.

The BYOC Tremolo is easy to build and sounds great.

There's another beast named the Magnus Modulus I would like to take a whack at after I successfully make a Lune.

Hmm... If you have a pedal you don't use, of similar quality, and you want to get rid of it I'll probably be interested.

I have heard good things about that.

I'm always telling myself i need a Trem. Had a Lovepedal Babyface for awhile and used it like twice. I need to remind myself of that everytime I look at a Tremolessence or Tap-a-whirl!

I own a Keeley modified BOSS Tremolo, for the music I do at the moment (lots of CCR), the pedal is integral to what I play. Really happy with the Keeley mods, can also use the Trem as a clean boost...

Apparently the definition of tremolo is completely arbitrary anyway.
