I like the echorec more. I like the soft modulated repeats more.

Which ever one that will get me close to a 80's lead guitar tone.

Though I'm interested in the Echorec for obvious reasons, I think I'd get an El Capistan first if I got a modeled delay. Not only for simulated tape and mag delay, but also for the looping abilities. I think for now I'm happy with my various analog delays.

I have three Boss DD3's. Ive NEVER had any reason to replace them. I also have a Dejavu SD but its still in the box. Never plugged it in. The DD3's do what I need and I see no reason to screw around with another.

I'm a tap tempo addict, so the Diamond Memory Lane Jr. for the simplicity and great tone, or even the Boss DD-7 (for its stereo outs) suited my needs... Maybe even a Visual Sound Tap Delay.

Between those 2 Catalinbreads, I prefer the Echorec.

I like them both...but my Wampler Faux Tape Echo with tap is the best all around delay i've ever had!

I've never tried either one; however, I rarely use delay so I went with the bottom choice. lol I like the sound of delay and its fun to hear all the cool stuff you can do with delay, but for what I play I only need reverb.

I'd go with the Catalinbread of the choices you gave.
