    I didn't realize how much a Throbak was now! When I got it the price was seriously about half of the current price!

    I agree, with simple fuzzes you are paying for transistor matching and circuit tuning. Everyone knows the Fuzz Face circuit, it's the transistor differences (and biasing the transistors correctly) that make it sound good or bad.
