  • Ditched the brick

Haven't had a chance to fire it up yet, but already i feel like it will be better. I've been putting it off for a while now, cuz i'd much rather buy amps and cabs at the moment.

    Re: Ditched the brick

Never realized how much the DC brick blows moose nads. Dead silence now.

I looked at the Mondo for my board, but it made more sense to extend my 2 Plus with a 4x4 - at least financially; those things are not cheap.

in that case it makes sense. I went from maxing out the DC and extending it with a wall wart/strip outlet set-up to voodoo. Wish i had went Pedal Power to begin with. You're right, they ain't cheap.

They're not cheap, but they're worth every penny.

I run a Voodoo Iso 5 myself. They make some great gear.

When I go to purchase a power supply, it is more than definitely gonna be a Voodoo Lab. Not sure which model yet, but that's what research is all about!

Plus in the beginning of getting pedals, I used to be so big on getting TONS of pedals but the more and more I get pedals, the more and more I realize that I don't think I want an extremely huge pedal board with a ton of effects, even though I admire the guys on here who have those insanely wicked pedalboards that I could eyeball for days haha

I'll be getting a Mondo some day, I hope.
