  • Anyone make a SMALL effects looper?

    Here is the RJM device:

    Rack mountable.

I am finishing my pedalboard and was going to get the Voodoo midi switcher.

This is going to go on my pedal board. I would also like the ability to switch on/off pedals by midi, without having to put the pedals in a rack.

I was thinking I could modify some pedals to switch from the vodoo, but would be nice if someone made a small switcher with some loops for pedals. Anyone?

Check out Nose Pedal's loopers. He does custom stuff too.

check out G-Lab. They've got plenty of pedals controllers for rack and floor use.

          I have a Road Rage 2 loop switcher that's quite small ...

Loop master offers a variety of looping pedals in different form factors.

This has MIDI, but it's a little pricey - http://www.thegigrig.com/acatalog/G2.html#SID=13

The G-lab is the only one that meets criteria.

Needs to accept midi from a floorboard and turn pedals on/off.

The G-lab stuff looks great. I didn't see anything about turning pedals on/off. Do you mean MIDI control over which loops you are running?
The Lehle D.Loop (and others) do this as well .. though the Lehle is fanatical about the signal purity.

No midi port on the lehle, dont know how it would respond to midi.

Lehle does have MIDI; I own two of 'em (in the photo above); it's on a 1/4" jack. I was using my FC200 to switch them. You can get a special MIDI to 1/4" cable from them or you can make it yourself if you are handy w a soldering gun.

                        1) How to use a pedal in 2 different loops with it? For example i want to use an specific overdrive pedal in 2 different loops.

                        2) How to create a loop that enabling you to switch clean channel of the amp into od channel of the amp and bunch of effects?

                          OK, that would work.

These got a bit of attention at the LA Pedal Show. I think the Switch Dr. is the model you're looking for.
I remember them not being overly expensive.
