  • Recomend a crazy octave fuzz for humbuckers

I've got gas for a new obnoxious noise maker. I've had a couple ovtavio type and whammy pedals and a boss oc-2... I want a knarly, nasty fuzzy octave that will work with buckers... Begin!

Fulltone Octafuzz is the one that I am using. I like it, both the octave and the regular mode.

I would check out the MXR Slash Octave Fuzz. Designed with humbuggies in mind.

It's not cool or boutique, but I think the Visual Sound Angry Fuzz is a lot of fun, and works well with buckers. I have a little Angry Fuzz demo song I started but never finished, let me see if I can find it...nope...

            Still, it's a fun pedal.

              Octave UP . . . or DOWN ?

I really like my ZVex Mastotron . . . but that one gives me a HUGE octave DOWN low end rumble !

I'm mostly thinking octave up, but not written in stone or anything. Just want the most obnoxious (but usable lol) nasty octave exploding fuzz out there. The gonkulator looks fun hahaha.

Earthquaker Devices Bit Commander and Death By Audio Octave Clang are pretty wicked sounding.
