  • Pedal lineup of Amazeballs flexibility

    Distortion NOT included due to everyone's particular tastes.

    Wah = Crybaby 535Q
    Chorus = Digitech CF 7 Chorus Factory
    Flange = Digitech Turbo Flanger
    Phaser = EVH Phaser
    Delay = Boss Tera-echo
    Reverb = Line 6 Verbzilla

    You could dial you in some sounds with that!

    Oh....you're going to get SO much flak on this...

    I actually think it's a pretty good list...and I don't own a single one of those pedals. I might add a cheap CLEAN boost/preamp--say, a BBE Boosta Grande? Or perhaps a Boss CS-3 Compressor?

    And not a boutique pedal made from unobtainium in the bunch. Good job!

    When you've had budget guitars for a number of years, you may find that your old instrument is holding you back. A quality guitar can inspire you to write great songs, improve your understanding of the Gdim chord while in the Lydian Mode, cure the heartbreak of cystic acne--and help you find true love in the process.

            if you're looking for flexibility the tc electronic flashback or even a boss dd7 will give you more delay options than the tera echo.
            Quality riffs in about a minute...

                so much digital action.
                Have you considered an all in one unit like a line 6 POD hd-500?
                its got flexibility in spades.

                  I can dial in a sound with that.

                  But - I'd like a little 'squeeze' cos I'm a single coil type of guy.

                    Re: Pedal lineup of Amazeballs flexibility

                    OK - what is the ultra flexible comp?

                    I roll Dyna comp or Modded CS-3?????

                    And I did consider the Flashback….a couple of TC's actually.

                    Just trying to keep it in a few choice pedals.

                    Unobtanium -

                    And yeah - chorus/flange/phase; Gotta be able to nail Ain't talking bout love, Eruption, AND 5150 era. SO you will need Flange, Phase, AND Chorus - and the chorus will need a delay setting as well!

                      Probably CS-3, but I'd prefer an optical.

                        Meh, here's my list:

                        Wah = modded Crybaby with true bypass and vocal mod
                        Chorus = EHX Small Clone (I use a Boss bass chorus while a friend uses the Clone)
                        Phaser = EHX Small Stone
                        Delay = Boss DD7
                        Reverb = EHX Holy Grail

                          Why pick a line up just because it offers a bunch of sounds?!

                          I'd rather have 5 pedals that yielded. 5 great sounds than I would have 5 pedals that yielded 25 half sounds....and FWIW, I have yet to find 5 pedals that yielded 25 great sounds so that's not an option in the real world.
