  • Volumn Pedal

Played a bit of "Little Wing" tonite. Need something to add to certain notes /swells without ODwah etc.

If a volume pedal is what you seek, I highly recommend Dunlop. I just got a DVP3 today and it's fantastic. The feel is superb (far better than any traditional wah style volume I've ever used) and they can even be used as expression pedals. They're passive so there's no tone suck like with an EB Volume pedal. If you don't need the expression pedal capability you can get the DVP1 for $20 cheaper. The steel band drive dunlops are absolutely worth the scratch, though.

Yeah, I have two Ernie Ball volume pedals and I've stopped using them. I wouldn't call them tone-suck, but I noticed they seemed to roll off some very specific sweet top-end (just 1.5db - 2db down) that I really needed to be expressive and work with the amp.
