The other day I swapped the "sweep cap" in my wah. Thought I was replacing the 0.01uF cap with a 0.022uF cap. The wah sounded super thick. I double checked the cap, and I had installed a 0.22uF! I'll make sure I read and understand the capacitor codes better next time :-)
