  • New Strymon Pedal

The Deco. So very very nice. Basically a reel to reel tape machine in a small pedal format. And all that comes with that - tape saturation, echo, chorus, and flanging.Me gusta

Tape saturation - dig that idea!

If you could get the early tone of Ritchie Blackmore with this pedal, I'd be very tempted to get one at some point.

Great original take on the multi fx pedal thing, though I'm not really keen on multi fx pedals myself. I'm more interested in someone applying that to a full mix than to just guitar.

Playing through a reel to reel was something we did for fun , dragging your finger on the reel to slow it down was a favorite thing to do to someones playing.

I must admit, I don't get it. But, congrats anyway!

Neat idea I guess but I've not been impressed by a single Strymon pedal yet so I have to assume this one will fall short as well.

Don't you say the same thing every time Strymon releases a new pedal?

If so I guess he's always been right. Right?

Well, let me be the Big Man here and admit I was wrong. Just saw the PGS video on the Deco. And now I want one.

By chance, did you compare the Strymon El Capistan with this one before buying, and if so, what were the key differences that made you choose the Deco, or what made you choose the Deco over everything else similar? (What else were you looking at/comparing before buying?)
