Just replaced two Pedaltrain board with a holeyboard.

The "upper deck" runs through my amp's effects loop.

Hah... nice to see this one.

For the record I still don't have a new board but a medium sized-pedaltrain unit will accommodate my needs since I won't need to use all my pedals for the band I'm currently working with.

In addition to the ability to tilt the whole board up I prefer having my top row of pedals elevated to facilitate quick switching. Are Pedaltrain boards configured like that?
I am so close to retirement that I could play in a band full time. All I have to do is figure out what to use instead of money, improve my playing, learn some songs, and find some other musicians more talented than me who will do exactly as they're told. .

Fix Pedalboards from Lancaster, Ca are gaining popularity. They're made at a big metal fabricating complex that supplies the aerospace companies. The founder's grandson is a guitar junkie, so he started making these powder coated aircraft aluminum boards.

I might get one in a custom size with a gloss black deck with anodized copper riser. No logo.
            Luckily, their prices aren't bad.
