Put this together today. Basic board for my Jet City JCA 22H and or first Gen PRS Archon 50 head. Wampler ERGO and Belle OD into the front and running a Boss DD3 Delay and Newnaber Wet verb in the loop with 15 foot cables to the input and the loop. Have a pure Tone buffer in the loop and is all powered by a Gator Power 5. Simple straight forward board.1 PhotoGuitars

It just slays for Living On A Prayer. Just simple and works. I indeed run the gain up pretty high. Maybe around 2/3 o clock. Level varies a bit from gig to gig depending on PA settings.
But Wah vs TB? No comparison.
Working on enunciating "Do You Feel." Still get the tube opening blocked on my tongue every once and again.
I pulled an "I'm OK" last gig was pretty clear...

Yeah, it is not only a fun box but amazing sounding. I have the gain set at the same spot. I have mine first in the chain so when it is engaged it mutes the board. People dig Sweet Emotion and Hair of the Dog when I use it.

Direct to FOH ultra-mini pedalboard based on a Cornford MK50 model and powered by a USB battery. Fits in front pocket of my gigbag with guitar cable and XLR cable.
The Firebox is used for clean to high-gain just by riding the guitar volume and switching pickups, and the boost switch add compressor, boost and delay for lead.
As you can see I can add one more pedal but I don't need drives or boost pedals with that amp model. Suggestion?

You will never understand How it feels to live your life With no meaning or control And with nowhere left to go You are amazed that they exist And they burn so bright
Whilst you can only wonder why

Needs to play well in front of the amp as there's no effects loop in the Firebox and I want to keep the XLR out.
And true bypass.Last edited by donaldr; 06-20-2024, 07:09 AM.
