The Mad Professor is awesome. Still waiting to plug up the Dreamscape to try it out.

One review describes the Cello as 70's Pink Floyd lead tones. Would you agree?

IMO from playing with it for about 10 minutes so far, it's has a really nice Gary Moore'ish tone to Pink Floyd. Just an all around sweet sounding pedal to me. Can't wait to play with it some more *Thats What She Said*!

That's what this one was. This one was new however on Amazon.com
Thanks to TreyHaislip for the recommendation on the MP. I have fallen in love with this tiny Gold pedal.

I read there are some additional delay adjustment pots inside but you need to be very careful putting the cover back on it. Tight tolerances and will short out if you're not perfect alignment.

I've always been intrigued by the Golden Cello, but thought it was odd that they built an OD and Delay together with only one switch. I'll have to try one some day and see if it would fit for me, cause the demos I've seen are amazing.

If you don't want delay, all you have to do is turn the delay knob to off. Yes they are definitely a pedal to try.

i'm reading places theres a Ver 2 of the GC coming out at some point. I wonder if that is why there are liquidators selling them on the net for 100 bucks now. And they are not on GC or MF websites, M123 or others.

I plugged my Soul Food into the Deja Vu and guitar/ampl Played for a while last night. Not that same singing tone as on the videos but darned nice tone however.

Most welcome man, glad it was a solid recommendation! I love mine--hard to explain how good it is!

As to the delay, you can open the pedal and tweak it further than the knob on top (why they didn't make it a pull/push knob so you can tweak both ends of it I don't know.)

I rarely use delay so I just use it for the super sweet drive tone!

                      Enjoy man!

I've got two pedals arriving today. This GC might be number three in a few weeks.

I really love the tone of the GC personally.....It has a nice Bluesy Gary Moore'ish tone when the drive is set about 2:00 and the tone is set around 12:00.....It can go from that all the way to a nice crunchy overdrive....

Yesh, the demos are really good. They cover alot of tonality of that little gold pedal.
