I have the TC pedals wired by themselves, now hat if i ran my behringer TU300 and the EHX Silencer on a daisy chain? Would that be better?

I've been using a OneSpot for a couple years now. No problems. Powers everything except the wireless on my board.

      Nope...

Nice rig sir.....However, if I run my daisy chain from the 9V 500mA port on the power supply, will it burn up the tuner and noise gate even though im splitting the current?

My only daisy chain is straight off the cable from the OneSpot. I'm not feeding anything from any other source, outside of my wireless having its own supply. The PolyTune does have a passthrough but I don't use it.

I'm still waiting on my Silencer to come in. I looked up the mA usage on both pedals and they pull a total of 92mA together. The EHX Silencer pulls 22mA while the TU300 tuner pulls 70mA. Do you think I could get away with daisy chaining both together on a single 100mA wall wart?

It'll be close, but will probably work.

I'd err on the side of overkill myself.

Probably won't keep the tuner in constantly if that helps. Lol.

However, that power supply has a 9V 500mA output. Should I daisy chain off it or would I run a possibility of burnt up pedals?

Re: Cheap, but good, Reliable, pedal power.....

No, it won't burn up your pedals, the 500mA is the most current that output can put out, but it only supplies what the pedals need, it doesn't force them to take more, that's not how 'lectricity works. On the other hand, if you ran a pedal that needed 150mA on one of the 100mA outputs, the power supply just wouldn't be able to give it enough current and the pedal wouldn't work.

And the tuner and should be fine on one 100mA output, yeah, it's close, but those are the maximum current draws for the pedals, they are probably drawing less than that most of the time.

I used to dick around with the wall wart style power supplies, but once I ponied up and bought my Voodoo Lab ISO 5, I haven't looked back. It's a little more expensive, but worth it.

Re: Cheap, but good, Reliable, pedal power.....

The one spot has a 1 amp wall wart supply
Most standard pedals use 250 ma or less that's one quarter amp

A one spot will daisy chain 4 or 5 pedals

Your 500ma (1/2 amp) output will handle two or three

You should see a power requirement on the pedal somewhere
Add the up if you pull too much off one output you may burn out the single output
Or like the man said the pedal may not work

My Ultimate Drive pedal, like the OCD it's modeled after, can run on 18 volt
                        So that saves one
My Morley AB switch just lights the led so it gets a piggyback with something else
Compressor and DS1 share as well

Do you mean the JOYO ultimate drive? I've got that same pedal and it's really good. I will probably chain the tuner and the noise gate together on the 500mA jack then if it don't mess them up.
