I am thinking about buying a Kustom Defender 5H as a practice amp. I t doesn't have any tone controls so I thought I would get an EQ pedal. Any thoughts?

MXR makes a nice 7 band. So does Boss as I recall. The MXR might even be a 10 band now that I think about it.

They (MXR) actually make a 6 band and a 10 band. Either would be a good choice.Go Packers!Comment

For the loop I'd pick the mxr10 (gain and level controls),,,,,,as a front-ender the 6 is better IMO.
