  • Jet City Afterburner: Any experience with it?

    I wanna give this bad boy a shot since it's very very cheap.

    I've checked some clips on Youtube and it is promising, but it seems it's a very smooth sounding unit and I'm not sure I want that.
    I like clarity above all things and this is a bit too buttery:



    But then, he rides the tone knob pretty low through the video. So who knows? (Test begins close to the 2:30 mark)
    I've read (who knows if true) that it's basically a TS clone (sounds like one) with an boost circuit.
    The dual stage is an absolute win for me since I only have 1 channel at my disposal, and I currently use two pedals for this. (Keeley Blues Driver + Zvex 2-in-1 clone for extra filth)

    Any of you good people tried it? Thankfully I can -and will- try before buying and I'll take my Keeley Blues Driver to the shop for an A/B test.
