Grabbed one of these to try. I'm quite impressed. Keeping the 5F6A 4x10 Bassman I built at non ear bleeding volumes, this baby really gets a beautiful power tube distortion sound going. This is the best OD I've tried for my ears so far. But this is but another stop on the journey.

Re: Zendrive
Lovepedal makes great pedals. The new Black Caucus Kalamazoo is on point. I'm still looking for a Les Lius which is essentially a 5e3. Nice score man.

Tried a Butterfly Kiss chorus?

Re: Zendrive
I haven't. I've only used or owned a couple of his ODs and "amp in a box" pedals. That chorus is a custom run, the two demos I heard were good tho.

Re: Zendrive
One sweet pedal for sure, not that I am into that sound much....but I love the dynamics and such from it!

Re: Zendrive
I'm aggressively building a pedal board right now. I think the ZD is a keeper. I've tried a lot of pedals this year and sent a lot of them back.

Re: Zendrive
i paid way too much for my original ZD ($250 used) but i cant imagine it ever NOT being on my board, so i am actually going to rehouse it in a 125B enclosure in order to move the I/O and 9VDC to the back panel instead of the sides
it plays great with both Humbuckers and single coils and even stacks great in front of the SD twintube classic
great pedalgear list in profile

Re: Zendrive
I don't know much about the Zen Drive...do any of y'all have a definite sound clip for one? How does it differ from a TS-style?Dave, Ambassador/Writer/Artist for Seymour Duncan
